SMOOTHRIDE SOLUTION

Most Innovative & Advanced Solution to Road Resurfacing.

“Imagine you have an X-ray before you operate” – The SmoothRide Solutions is the world’s most innovative and advanced solution to road resurfacing and land surveying. SmoothRide Solutions is a GPS-based system that provides real time guidance for heavy equipment operators, reducing the need for manual surveying and stakeouts. The system is designed to improve the accuracy and efficiency of asphalt paving and eliminate all human errors involved in the process- making it a smooth ride from start to finish.

Five Steps to the

SmoothRide Solution

01. Scanning And Mapping

The site is first scanned using the SmoothRide RD-M1 scanner, which generates high-precision 3D data using LIDAR scanning, inputting millions of data entry points. The output file is then used to create a map of the site.

02. Design

The 3D data is used to design the paving plan, including the paving route, the desired thickness of the asphalt, and final grading. A specialized GIS technician designs and finalizes the files that will be implemented on-site.

03. Implementation

The removal, grading, and paving machines are equipped with the SmoothRide GPS that includes the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) information from the file, which provides real-time guidance to the operator. The operator uses the guidance to navigate the machine and lay the asphalt in accordance with the design. This removes all possible human errors in surface grading and final paving.

04. Documentation

The system provides data that can be used for as-built documentation, ensuring that a record of the paving is available for future reference.

05. Quality Control

The system provides data that can be used for quality control, ensuring that the asphalt is properly compacted and that the surface is level and consistent.
